#1) First Lieutenant Eugene C. Adee is awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an F-4D pilot near Dak Seang and Dak Pek Special Forces Camps, Republic of Vietnam, from 6 April 1970 to 2 May 1970. During this period, Lieutenant Adee flew ten strike missions in direct support of the besieged camps. Lieutenant Adee’s precise coordination of his flights’ attacks and his unwavering determination to accurately deliver his ordnance, despite intense ground fire, contributed significantly to the successful defense of the camps. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Lieutenant Adee reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force. *************************

#2) First Lieutenant Eugene C. Adee is awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an F-4D pilot twenty-seven miles southwest of Quang Tri, Republic fo Vietnam, on 13 January 1971. On that date, Lieutenant Adee led a flight of two fighter aircraft in attacking an extremely dangerous hostile location. His expert assistance to the Aircraft Commander in the tactical execution of the mission, coupled with extremely accurate ordnance delivery inflicted numerous casualties on the hostile force and destroyed one active anti-aircraft gun site and two military structures. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Lieutenant Adee reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force. *****************************

#3) First Lieutenant Eugene C. Adee is awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an F-4D pilot near a besieged fire support base in Laos, on 27 February 1971. On that date, Lieutenant Adee made repeated bombing and gunnery attacks against attacking hostile forces and gun emplacements in the face of intense automatic weapons and anti-aircraft fire. Lieutenant Adee’s aggressiveness, unerring bombing, and disregard for personal safety made a significant contribution to the successful defense of the friendly fire support base and destroyed two hostile gun sites and two artillery weapons. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Lieutenant Adee reflect great credit upon himself and the United Statea Air Force.
