Membership

The Distinguished Flying Cross Society (click for video)

Many people have asked why their dad, brother, husband, or son’s name was not on our Honor Roll. It was not there because he was not a member of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society. You probably did not realize that the government did not keep a cumulative record of DFC recipients therefore no one knows how many were issued or to whom. Our organization was not founded until 1994 so we represent only a small fraction of recipients. We do have spouses or children of recipients making their loved ones members of the Society and this can be done. Once a person is made a member, his name will be proudly displayed in perpetuity on our website Honor Roll. Please read the Application and upon meeting the requirements regarding the Society your loved-one will be honored in perpetuity. If you need any further information just let us know.
